Palisade Peach Festival | August
Originating in the late 1800s, the Palisade Peach Festival celebrates the area’s delicious and sought-after peaches with orchard tours, ice cream socials, street dances, a tug of war, live entertainment, recipe contests, a pancake breakfast, a parade, peach cuisine, a peach eating contest, farmer’s market, lots of food and arts and crafts vendors.

Pork N Hops Challenge | September
At this family-friendly event at Lincoln Park in Grand Junction, professional barbecue teams compete for a $20,000 prize at this festival complete with live music, beer, food and family activities.
